TV and its influence on toddlers
Yesterday, when I was working on my new project till night, I came up with an interesting article titled ‘ Watching TV is bad for toddlers’. I think that all of know that, but I wanted to know which arguments are for this statement. I was reading them while searching for the best autoresponder service. Reading more and more of this article I saw that really it was disapproving a statement that watching TV is bad for toddlers. It was presenting it as a myth and trying to encourage us to let our children watch TV. It suggests to give your children a head start in life and sit them in front of the television. A study of 200 American pre-schoolers, according to article, has revealed that toddlers who watch TV for two hours a day develop more quickly than those who do without. On average, the two- and three-year- olds who watched TV scored 10 per cent higher in reading , maths and vocabulary, we read. However, what was a surprise for me, the programmes have to be aimed at the aged group of children. Children do not obtain anything from watching TV aimed at adultes.
