Why I am on extra-mural studies
Extra-mural studies are always payable. Students must labour or borrow some money from parents to pay for their studies. In addition, this kind of studies lasts shorter than full-time studies, therefore after extramural studies have can have problems with getting a well-paid job. In conclusion, extramural studies give students better opportunities to do few things in the same time, but in my opinion full-time studies are more advantageous. I think young people are prepared better for work after full-time studies. But not all of them are able to study and work at the same time and for some of them this is really important to do so. This is my case because I needed to work during my studies and extramural studies were the only option because I got a job in the email marketing company. This is a demanding job and I cannot simply do both things at the same time because it is really exhausting and one cannot cope with it.
The igloos

Some of the group including myself, just wanted to have a rest, so we spent this day on fascinating trips, on lying on the beaches, reading books, bronzing and swimming. I was exhausted by the travel, so I preferred to stay on the beach and had a lazy day. I was not alone, some people from our group had the same needs. The next day we went sightseeing. We saw a cathedral, zoo, some monuments and the central place of the city. We met some autochthones. They were really kind and helpful – we were surprised that they talk with us because it is rare. Later, in the evening, they invited us onto their local party. But just before that we made a last stroll along the harbor , and back to the ship. I was fascinated by this island and its habitants. It would be so difficult to return to my reality – to my computer business – searching for bulk email marketing software.

I love downloading books from the Internet, or rather I should say e-books. Nowadays we have a good access to such stuff as they enable us to use a lot of materials without any additional costs. Isn’t that amazing that nowadays we can use so many tools. Online resources are easily available on the Internet on many websites offer such options. This is funny that such webpages can function without difficulties. I think that some of them might be quite illegal when they offer the newest films which are just going to be displayed in the cinemas. The same situation could be considered with stuff used in online businesses. For example, is it fine that people download from the Internet tools for bulk email marketing service or in order to prepare mailing lists? I am not sure, especially when there are paid equivalents. This means less money for the producers. So in such a way it could be treated as a cheating but in fact I am not sure because I am not a specialist and person directly involved.
Cleaning time
What do you think about before-Christmas cleaning? This is something which seem to be common in every home but I have never heard that somebody likes it. It is a sad part of the whole during before-Christmas period and everybody must go through it. Especially children hate that time because they cannot relax, sit on the comfortable couch and watch TV but they must do something else what they parents told them to do so. This is a natural state of affairs that children do all the cleaning of their houses or flats, moms spend long hours in the kitchen and dads take care of shopping and other more technical stuff at home to do. I am always annoyed that I could not help my mom in the kitchen because I like cooking but I have to do the things that they tell me to do. This is annoying because I am old, I have some cooking experience and I have some other work to do. Yes, I work in mass email marketing services but during Christmas period I cannot do anything else than cleaning. Even when I have got some deadlines at work and I must prepare some projects.

I spend long hours every day on the Internet. It is amazing how does it work and how it is possible to find everything there. For me, the Internet is the main source of entertainment. What is more, they are in a really good quality and they seem to be a competition for cinemas and video shops. On the other hand, I use the Internet in order to read something. Not necessarily books, but as well newspapers, interesting articles and many other types of written-materials. In such a way, Internet could be seen as something which broadens my knowledge about world. Some time ago, I have, for example, encountered a bulk email marketing software. Thoughts on the direction of study
As you already know, I study marketing and management at one of the best Warsaw universities. Now I have got exam session and I wonder what in fact I am doing on that faculty as I do not learn anything concrete and useful, of course in my opinion. The most valuable knowledge I gain during my studies was unfortunately not at the college but in a company in which I had apprenticeships. Only there I saw how the whole process of creating online advertising campaigns looks like or how to carry out bulk email marketing. I saw how the personnel management looks like and how to maintain good relationships with colleagues. It may seem funny but I simply gain experience of how the work in such a big company looks like. It is stressful because a lot of things need to be prepared in a hurry but it is interesting and extremely attractive. You can experience how you should behave during the meetings with clients and how to talk with your boss. Thanks to these apprenticeships I believe that my faculty is not so incorrectly selected.
